JIMMY
CLANTON first burst on the music scene in 1958 with a hit recording
of his own composition “Just a Dream”, for which he
received a gold record on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand.
He followed this million seller up with many more successful hits
including “Letter to An Angel”, “A Part Of Me”,
“Another Sleepless Night”, “My Own True Love”,
“Go, Jimmy, Go”, from his first motion picture of the
same name, the Neil Sedaka composition “Venus In Blue Jeans”,
and many others.
JIMMY CLANTON
has had numerous television appearances on major talk shows including
The Johnny Carson Show, The Merv Griffin Show, as well as “The
Midnight Special” with Wolfman Jack and Dick Clark’s
25th Anniversary of Rock N’ Roll.
